Palestinian sources in the Gaza Strip reported on Monday at night that
the Israeli army and air force shelled a Palestinian house in Rafah, in
the southern part of the Gaza Strip, and open areas located between
Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that F16 fighters fired at least one missile at the house of Musallam Abu Jarad, near the Rafah Border Crossing.
The house was completely damaged, no injuries were reported.
The agency added that troops informed the owner that they intend to shell his house several minutes before shelling it.
Meanwhile, Israeli troops shelled with heavy artillery open areas in Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The media office that belongs to the National Security Forces reported that soldiers fired dozens of shells at these area and at Al Soudaniyya area, north-west of Gaza City.
Several residents, especially children, suffered anxiety attacks as a result of the shelling.
