The Director of Al Omal Radio station in Gaza, Rizek Al Baiari, called
the fire brigades and civil defense department to help the trapped
reporters and staff of the radio station who are trapped inside the
station due to a fire caused by an attack on the stationed on Thursday
night.
A group of 20 unknown gunmen attacked Al Omal radio station; a local radio station located in the northern side of Gaza city, injuring one reporter on Thursday night.
The gunmen forced their way into the offices and studios of the radio station; opening fire randomly and throwing hand made grenades. Khaled Al Massri, a reporter working in the radio station was injured and rushed to a nearby hospital.
