The Al-Aqsa Brigades, the armed wing of Fatah, have claimed
responsibility for launching two homemade Qassam shells onto the
Israeli terretories to the east of the Al Bureij refugee camp, early on
Sunday morning.

In a separate incident, the Izzedin Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, have claimed responsibility for launching one homemade shell into the Israeli town of Sderot, north of the Gaza Strip on Saturday night.

Both the Qassam and the Aqsa brigades said in two separate statements that the launching was in response to the daily Israeli aggressions targeting the Gaza Strip, in addition to the ongoing massacres throughout Palestinian territory.

More than 20 Palestinians have been killed within the past three days, as a result of Israeli bombardment and invasions into the Gaza Strip.
