Palestinian medical sources reported on Friday morning that one elderly
woman, was shot and killed by Israeli military fire in Bethlehem city,
in the West Bank, after the army invaded it earlier on Friday.
The woman was identified as Rasmiyya Khalil Al Far'awy, 70.
The Ramattan news agency reported that soldiers invaded Al Saff area in Bethlehem, and surrounded the house of Tha'er Ahmad Hassan, one of the leaders of the Islamic Jihad.
At least fifteen military vehicles, jeeps and a military bulldozer are currently surrounding the house of Hassan and demanding him to surrender. It is not yet known whether Hassan is in the house.
