Palestinian medical sources in Bethlehem reported that an elderly woman
died on wounds sustained during an Israeli military offensive in the
West Bank city of Bethlehem; two residents were killed during the
attack, and several residents were injured.
The source stated that Fatima Abdul-Fattah, in her seventies, was shot and seriously injured on Friday while she was standing on the balcony of her house in Al Saff Street while the army was operating there.
She was hit by two rounds of live ammunition; one in her leg and one in her abdomen, the sources added.
Soldiers shot and killed Tha'er Hassan, 27, and Abdul-Karim Obeyyat, 17 during the attack, several residents were moderately and seriously injured.
