The Israeli army opened fire at the residents' houses in the village of Al Faraheem near Khan Younis city south of the Gaza strip on Thursday morning.
Local sources reported that troops stationed around the village targeted the residents houses with heavy machine guns, damage to the houses were reported but no injures.
