Palestinian medical and security sources in the Gaza Strip reported on
Thursday night after midnight that the Israeli air force shelled
several houses, and a workshop, in the Gaza Strip; four children were
injured and were transferred to a Gaza hospital. The Israeli Navy also
shelled houses near the Gaza Beach.
The Ramattan news agency reported that the Israeli air force fired at least one missile at the house of Sami Saleh, a senior official of the Executive Force that belongs to the ministry of Interior, in Rafah in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Four children were injured in the attack and were moved to Abu Yousef Al Najjar Hospital in Rafah; the four were identified as Mahmoud Al Satry, Amna Hasan, Abdul-Kareem Abu Al Einen, and his sister Halla, they suffered mild-to-moderate wounds.
In the northern part of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli air force shells the house of Ibrahim Dahman, member of the Popular Resistance Committees. The house was destroyed; no injuries were reported.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that soldiers shelled a third house in Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, the house was destroyed; no injuries were reported.
In a separate attack, soldiers shelled a blacksmith workshop in Al Qarara town, near Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, completely destroying i.
The workshop belongs to resident Abed Mansour and is located in Al Zeini Street, the agency added.
Moreover, Youth Voice Radio station in Gaza City was evacuated after receiving the a phone call from the army informing them of intentions to shell it.
In a separate incident, soldiers invaded the eastern side of Abasan town, east of Kahn Younis and fired rounds of live ammunition at several houses.
The invasion was carried out by several tanks, armored vehicles and a military bulldozer.
Moreover, the Israeli Navy shelled several houses along the Gaza beach on Thursday night after midnight. The shelling was concentrated in the northern section of the beach area.
