Several Palestinian resistance factions claimed on Friday responsibility for firing homemade shells into Israeli settlements north and east of the Gaza Strip.!– @page { size: 21.59cm 27.94cm; margin: 2cm } P { margin-bottom: 0.21cm } –>The Al Aqsa Martyrs brigades, the armed wing of Fateh movement, issued a press release claiming responsibility for firing “an advanced” homemade shell at the settlement of Nativ Ha Atzara, in the Western Negev.

Another group which belongs to the Al Aqsa Brigades, but calls itself Yasser Arafat Brigades, claimed responsibility for firing five “Yasser” homemade shells at the Israeli Negev town of Sderot, and other settlements in the Western Negev.

The Al Quds brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, claimed responsibility for firing homemade shells at Kissufim Israeli military post, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

The armed factions stated separately that the shelling comes in retaliation to the Israeli violations, and the assassination of Mahmoud Obeid, leader of the Al Quds brigades in Jenin, in the northern part of the West Bank.
