Palestinian medical sources in al Wafa' hospital, in Gaza city, reported on Friday evening that one fighter died of wounds sustained during an Israeli military invasion to Khazza'a town, in Khan Younis, six months ago. The fighter, Khalid Ali Al Shawwaf, 22, was injured six in September 6, 2006, as he and other resistance fighters exchanged fired with the invading Israeli forces in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Al Shawwaf is a member of the Al Qassam brigades, the armed wing of Hamas movement.
He was unconscious the whole period due to his sever wounds, and was placed at the intensive care unit until he he announced dead of Friday.
