Before dawn on Saturday Israeli forces invaded the northwestern West Bank city encircled by the Wall. Qalqilia residents come and go to the rest of the West Bank through a gate controlled by the military, even when being arrested.
Israeli forces raided the Dhiab home last week and arrested the eldest son, 45 year old Said, and his brother Omar. This morning the Israelis took their mother.
The Dhiab father told PNN early Saturday that the psychological situation for the seven member family was already difficult after last week’s attack.
The young child, four year old Abdel Khader Dhiab, said, ‘They put my father in their pocket and took him somewhere far away.’
He has necessarily postponed travel to Jordan for medical treatment. Last week Israeli forces arrested 25 people in Qalqilia.
