An unknown group bombed early on Sunday a bookshop and an internet café in Gaza, media sources said.
Palestinian security sources confirmed that an explosive device was detonated at the front door of the Bible bookshop in the Palestine Square in the heart of Gaza City. Witnesses said that the bombing caused large-scale damage to the shop and other nearby stores.
In the meantime, another explosive device bombed an internet café in the Unknown Soldier square in Gaza, causing severe damages to the shop as well as to a car in the area.
These new attacks come less than 24 hours after the Palestinian cabinet approved yesterday a 100-day long security plan, intended to contain growing unrest in the Palestinian territories, particularly in the Gaza Strip.
