Three Palestinians have been killed and two others injured in an explosion that rocked a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza Strip.
Eyewitnesses said that a large blast was audible in the camp, as ambulances and firefighters arrived at the scene.
The explosion took place while three members of the Islamic Jihad group were preparing an explosive device, said police sources.
The sources added that a technical problem occurred to the device, causing the blast.
The Islamic Jihad’s military wing of Al-Quds Brigades has been involved in a series of homemade shells fire into nearby Israeli tows in the cycle of violence between Israelis and Palestinians over the past five years.
