Palestinian sources reported on Monday evening that Israeli soldiers invaded an area close to the Sofa crossing, east of Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, broke into a number of houses and kidnapped several residents. The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA< reported that soldiers kidnapped at least ten residents and took them to unknown destination.
Eyewitnesses reported that soldiers used military dogs as they searched the houses and caused damage to the furniture and property.
The army advanced for a distance of two kilometers into the area, eyewitnesses added.
Last week, soldiers invaded the same area , shot and killed two residents, several residents were injured.
