A Palestinian resistance group claimed responsibility for firing three home-made shells at the southern Israeli town of Sderot. The action caused no damage or injures.
In a press release, the Al Aqsa brigades, the armed wing of the Fatah movement, claimed responsibility for the rocket launches.
The group said that the attack was in response to Israeli military offensives against the Gaza strip.
