Palestinian medical sources reported that a 70-year old Palestinian woman was shot and killed on Friday at dawn by Israeli military fire as soldiers invaded Khuza’a town, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, and fired rounds of live ammunition at dozens of homes. The sources stated that Yosra Au Rock, 70, was shot by several rounds of live ammunition in her chest and other parts of her body.
She was initially seriously wounded and was moved to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis where she was officially pronounced dead.
Soldiers, supported by several armored vehicles, invaded the area late of Thursday at night while military bulldozers uprooted farmlands and several hothouses.
