Palestinian medical sources reported on Tuesday morning that three Palestinians suffered mild-to-moderate wounds after the Israeli Air Force shelled the ‘Tunnels Area’ in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.The wounded residents were moved to a local hospital while dozens of residents rushed out of their homes fearing additional strikes.
In related news, the Israeli Air Force bombarded a blacksmith workshop in Al Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza city causing excessive damage.
The shelling came only an hour after a resistance group fired a homemade shell at the Western Negev.
It is worth mentioning that two Palestinian fighters, members of the Al Qassam brigades of Hamas, were killed on Tuesday at dawn in an explosion in Gaza City.
The Al Qassam Brigades said that the two were killed “while performing a Jihadist mission”.
