On Monday afternoon, Israeli tanks opened fire at homes close to the northern Gaza Strip border with Israel.
Witnesses said that a number of Israeli tanks invaded the area early on Monday morning. When tanks were leaving on Monday afternoon, they opened fire at Palestinian residents’ homes, the witnesses added.

An Israeli military spokesperson denied the attack, saying that the Army had conducted exercises along the border on Monday, but did not fire toward Palestinian homes.

Local sources reported no injuries, but residents’ homes sustained some damage. Residents of the area say these types of Israeli attacks happen on a daily basis in the area, known as Abu Sufiyah.
