Israeli occupation forces kidnapped on Sunday five Palestinians in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and two in Bethlehem. Local sources in Hebron reported that two Palestinians were kidnapped near the Ibrahimi Mosque (The Cave of the Patriarchs), while three residents were kidnapped from their homes in Al Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron.
The army claimed that, after searching the three residents, soldiers found out that they carried knives. Israeli Army Radio claimed that the three, who remained unidentified, intended to attack soldiers.
On Sunday at dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded the West Bank City of Bethlehem and kidnapped three residents after breaking into their homes and ransacking their property.
