Israeli troops kidnap civilians from the West Bank and the government approves new setters homes in Jerusalem. These stories and more, coming up, stay tuned.

The News Cast

The Israeli military kidnapped on Tuesday eight Palestinian civilians during invasions targeting a number of West Bank communities.

Local sources reported invasions in the cities of Hebron and Bethlehem, southern West Bank, as well as Jenin in the north.

The Israeli military announced that all those kidnapped have been taken to military detention camps for questioning.

In other news, four new residential buildings in East Jerusalem were approved by the Israeli Jerusalem municipal planning and building committee.

The four buildings, which will house a total of 24 apartments, will be constructed in an area east of the borders of Jerusalem’s Old City.

he project in question ‘was initiated and constructed by American Jewish millionaire Irving Moskowitz, Israeli media sources reported on Tuesday.

The approval comes just a week after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel intends to build another 700 apartments in East Jerusalem.

Both the Obama Administration and the European Union have voice criticism, saying Israel’s ongoing annexation of East Jerusalem and the West Bank makes the two-state solution all the more difficult to implement.
