Following an incursion into the village of al-Ma’sara, at 2 a.m. Friday morning, the villagers of al-Ma’sara marched towards the construction site of the Israeli built wall that annexes their land.In a predawn invasion Mahamad Brijia, a member of the Popular Committee Against The Wall and Settlement Construction was removed from his home while Israeli troops conducted a search of the building.
The military threatened Mahamad, and other members of the committee with arrest if they continue to organize and attend protests.
Despite these actions, the protest was continued, but was met with an increase in hostilities, local sources reported.
As the protestors attempted to exit the village, towards the construction site, they found the road closed by the Israeli military and were fired upon by troops stationed on roof tops. The military fire included the use of tear gas canisters, sound bombs, and rubber coated steel bullets.
