Israeli army invaded many Palestinian houses in Batin al-Hawa neighbourhood, of Silwan, just outside the walls of the Old City and near to the al-Aqsa mosque.Maher Ghazawe,a citizen from Batin al-hawa neighbourhood reported that soldiers invaded house by house, intimitaded women and childern and smashed windows and gates. Furthermore, the army arrested boys and young men. One of them, ‘Ala’ Odeh, 20, was arrested after soldiers assualted his mother.
Several other neighborhoods in East Jerusalem were also invaded, including al-Bostan, Wadi Hilwa and ‘Ein al-Loza region, and arrests were made according to a witness.
