Israeli Settlers Began Settlement Expansion Work Near Nablus

On Tuesday, Ghassan Douglas, a Palestinian official in charge of monitoring Israeli settlement in the northern part of the West Bank, stated that Israeli settlers started the expansion of Eli Jewish settlement, south of Nablus.Douglas stated that Israeli bulldozers began clearing Palestinian lands adjacent to the settlement, this stealing hundreds of acres in order to link Eli to another nearby settlement.

Expansion work is also taking place for the second day in a row in the settlement of Maskiot, in the Jordan Valley.
