On Monday, Israeli police shot a Palestinian worker who according to Israeli officials, was working in Israel without permission, Ma’an reported.Israeli police explained the shooting saying that the man was trying to run over another person with a car near the city of Ashkelon, in the southern district of Israel. The victim was not identified.
According to Ma’an, police pursued the car and shot the driver, injuring him in his foot. After that, he was evacuated to Beersheba’s hospital.
