Israeli soldiers kidnapped on Friday evening a young Palestinian woman from Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, after claiming that she attempted to stab a soldier at the Etzion Junction. Palestinian security sources stated that the young woman was identified as Amaal Jamal Taqaqta, 19, the Maan News Agency reported.
The sources added that the young woman suffers a psychological condition, and that coordination with the Israeli side is being conducted to ensure her release.
He family provided the Palestinian side of the District Coordination Office with a medical report stating her psychological condition. The report will be sent to the Israeli side on Sunday.
The young woman is currently detained at the Etzion military camp.
