Palestinian sources reported Wednesday morning that several Israeli armored vehicles carried out a limited invasion into an area, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. The Maan News Agency reported that at least 6 armored military bulldozers and a tank invaded farmlands located east of Khan Younis.
Soldiers fired rounds of live ammunition into several directions; damage was reported, no injuries.
The bulldozers and the tank came from the Kissufim military base across the border.
The army advanced nearly 200 meters into the area while the soldiers combed border locations.
