Israeli soldiers invaded on Monday the Fasayel village, north of the West Bank city of Jericho, broke into a home and installed a roadblock. Local sources reported that the army violently broke into a home in the village causing damage, while the soldiers interrogated the residents.
Troops also installed a roadblock at the southern entrance of Jericho, stopped dozens of vehicles and interrogated several residents while checking their ID cards.
The army claimed that it is searching for farm tractors “illegally” own by several residents.
In related news, a group of fundamentalist Israeli settlers closed Road #60, near Fasayel village, and placed rocks in the street.
The army was present in the area but did not attempt to remove the settlers.
A settler group said that the settlers were marking the anniversary of a Jewish settler who was killed in the area.
