The Israeli Air Force carried out, on Wednesday at dawn, two air strikes targeting a blacksmith workshop in Gaza City, leading to excessive damage and one injury.Local sources reported that F16 Fighter Jets fired a missile at a workshop located in Al Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza city, moderately wounding one woman living nearby. The woman was moved to the Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza city.
The blacksmith worship was destroyed and several nearby homes sustained damages, while the main waterline in the neighborhood was shattered.
Two hours after the initial attack, the Air Force struck the same area again causing further damage and destruction.
The Israeli Army recently stepped-up it’s attacks against the Gaza Strip by carrying out several air strikes and limited invasions, mainly into the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip.
Also on Wednesday at dawn, Israeli troops shot and killed a 19-year-old youth in Al Far’a refugee camp, north of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and kidnapped several other residents.
The youth, Ibrahim Sarhan, a college student, was heading to the local mosque to perform dawn prayers.
