Palestinian medical sources reported Wednesday that a Palestinian construction worker was attacked by approximately 15 extremist Israeli settlers while heading to a construction site in West Jerusalem.The sources identified the worker was Ahmad Younis al-Obeidiyya, from al-Obeidiyya town, east of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.
Ahmad was surrounded by 15 fundamentalists who kicked and punched various parts of his body before fleeing the scene. The attack took place around 6 in the morning.
Al-Obeidiyya suffered numerous contusions and bruises, and was moved to a local Palestinian governmental hospital in the District of Bethlehem.
