One injured, 10 arrested as by Israeli troops in Hebron and settlers attack the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. These stories and more coming up stay tuned.

In the old city of Hebron, southern West Bank, one was injured, 10 others arrested on Wednesday when Israeli troops attacked the participant of the 7th annual Bil’in conference for popular resistance. Today international delegations and local activists gathered in Hebron for the second day of the conference that started on Tuesday.

Israeli soldiers fired tear gas and attacked participants as they were having a tour inside the old city of Hebron today at midday, local sources reported. Organizers say the conference will continue tomorrow in Jerusalem and will end with the weekly protest in Bil’in village central West Bank on Friday. In 2004 Bil’in started to organize weekly protests against the Israeli wall and settlements built by Israeli on local villagers lands.

The continued struggle and legal actions managed in 2007 to force the Israeli army to reroute the wall around Bil’in and get the villagers half of their stolen land. The villagers and their international and Israeli supporters continue the weekly protests demanding the rest of the land.

In other news radical Israeli settlers tried on Wednesday morning to storm the Doom of the rock and AL Aqsa mosque in the old city Jerusalem. Local sources said that residents who managed to stop the invasion of settlers were attacked and some sustained light wounds.

Also on Wednesday Welcome to Palestine campaign responded at Israeli claims that its protest and assured that the international are coming to visit Bethlehem city and build a school. Israeli announced today that it will deploy around 600 police officers at the Ben Gorion airport in Tell Aviv on Sunday April 15 the first day to the campaign.

Last year 650 people signed up for welcome to Palestine. Nearly where not allowed to board plans in Europe based on instructions from the Israeli ministry of Interior sent to the airline companies. In addition Over 120 passengers were denied entry when they arrived at Ben Gorion airport.
