Palestinian medical sources reported that two Palestinian were injured during clashes with Israeli settlers who invaded, on Saturday evening, the eastern area of the Aseera Al-Qibliyya village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.The Maan News Agency reported that dozens of settlers hurled homes at Palestinian homes in the village, located close to the Yitzhar illegal settlement leading to clashes between the residents and the settlers.
Medical sources reported that resident Nimir Fathi, 24, was seriously injured after being shot in the neck, while resident Ahmad Jibril, 30, was hit in the face by a stone hurled by one of the settlers.
In related news, clashes took place between dozens of Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers invading Iraq Burin village, south of Nablus.
Local sources reported that the clashes erupted after the army invaded the village and harassed several residents.
Soldiers fired rubber-coated metal bullets, concussion grenades and gas bombs at the residents; dozens were treated for the effects of teargas inhalation.
Settler attacks in the area witnessed a sharp and serious increase as the settlers repeatedly invaded several villages and towns close to illegal Israeli settlements, and chased dozens of residents out of their own lands and orchards.
