Dozens of extremist Israeli settlers marched, Tuesday, in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, in occupied East Jerusalem, and conducted provocative acts while chanting slogans against the Arabs and Palestinians.The Quds Media Center reported that the settlers marched in the neighborhood heading towards “Tomb of Simeon”.
Most of the settlers are believed to be residents of the Shimon HaTzadik illegal settlement outpost.
The Israeli army was extensively deployed in the area, but did not attempt to prevent the settlers from conducting provocative acts against the Palestinians.
Last Saturday, a number of extremist Israeli settlers burnt Palestinian Olive trees that belong to residents of Qaryout village, near the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
Last Friday, a Palestinian resident was injured after a group of extremist Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian family members picking their olive trees in the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
