Israeli court acquits a soldier from charges of killing Palestinian boy, while during night and morning invasions Israeli troops kidnap 11 Palestinian civilians from West Bank communities. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.
An Israeli border police officer was acquitted on Tuesday by the Tall Aviv court of shooting and killing a 10 year old Palestinian boy near Ramallah in central West Bank. Ahmad Mussa was shot in the head by two bullets by the Israeli soldier during a nonviolent protest against the Israeli wall in Nil’in village near Ramallah city in 2008.
The court said that there is no enough evidence that the bullets fired by the soldiers were the reason of Mussa’s death; however the court said that the soldiers fired his gun while je was not subject to danger. During his statement the Israeli border police officer, identified as Omri Abu, said that if he did not respond it will be a sign of weakness.
In other News Israeli forces demolished on Tuesday a house in the village of Beit Omer, southern West Bank then arrested the owner. Local sources said that Israeli troops and a bulldozer invaded Beit Omer then demaloshed the house of Waheed Abu Mariya then when he tried to stop the soldiers they arrested him.
In addition when Abu Mariya brothers tried to aid him troops beat them up, both were injured and moved to a nearby clinic for treatment,
Also On Tuesday, the Israeli military detained 7 Palestinians from Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Hebron.
Meanwhile, at dawn Israeli troops also raided the village of Beit Anan in the North West of Jerusalem and arrested a youth then clashed with local youth. Soldiers fired rubber bullets and tear gas while youths hurled stones at them, no injuries were reported.
Earlier Israeli soldiers kidnapped, on Monday evening, three Palestinian children in Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, after claiming that they painted parts of a settlers’ vehicle with white paint.
The soldiers also kidnapped a woman near the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city, after claiming that she carried a knife.
