The Israeli army intensified it bombardment targeting government building and dozens of Palestinian homes in the Gaza Strip, and killed on Wednesday 12 Palestinians while dozens have been injured; some seriously. The ongoing Israeli escalation led, so far, to the death of at least 157 Palestinians; most of them civilians, including children.Medical sources reported that a Palestinian child, identified as Abdul-Rahman Naim, 2-years-old, was killed when the army bombarded Ni’ma tower in Gaza City. The bombarded building also contains several media offices.
Furthermore, the army killed three members of the same family after bombarding their home in northern Gaza; several residents have been injured.
The slain family members have been identified as Talal al-Asaly, his son Ayman and his daughter Hadeel.
The army also bombarded an-Nusseirat area killing on resident identified as Mubarak al-Ghoula.
Earlier in the day, the army killed Mohammad al-Ashqar, 22, and Mahmoud Abu Khousa, 13, in two air strikes targeting Gaza City. Several residents have been injured in the attacks, while two more residents have been injured when the army bombarded an-Nafaq Street in Gaza.
Two residents were injured in the neighborhood in an earlier Israeli bombing.
Two Palestinians have been injured when the army fired several missile into the al-Yarmouk Playground; the shelling also led to damage in the Gaza City Council.
Furthermore, an elderly man, identified as Ibrahim Abu Nasr, 80, was killed and his daughter Amira was injured when the army bombarded their home in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Resident Fares Sbatiyya, 22, was also killed when the army bombarded ash-Shujaeyya neighborhood in Gaza.
The Israeli Air Force also bombarded the home of Issam ad-Da’alees, in central Gaza; ad-Da’alees is an advisor to Palestinian Prime Minister in Gaza, Ismail Haniyya. Two resident were wounded.
The air force fired missile into the ash-Shaheed Mosque, west of the al-Bureij Refugee Camp in central Gaza, completely destroying the mosque. One under-construction home that belongs to resident Khaled Abu Ajwa, east of al-Bureij, was also bombarded.
Medical sources in Gaza reported that a child, identified as Ahmad Abu Oleyyan, from Bani Soheila, died of serious injuries suffered when the army bombarded his family’s home three days ago.
One resident, identified as Abdullah Asaliyya, was killed and three were injured when the army fired a missile close to the ash-Shafe’ey Mosque, in the Jablia refugee camp, in northern Gaza.
The army also carried out 23 strikes targeting tunnels in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
One missile was fired into a historic bridge that links between the an-Nusseirat refugee camp and al-Mighraqa village in central Gaza.
The soldiers also fired missiles into Khan Younis Police Stations completely destroying it, in addition to firing missiles into Abu Khadra Compound that includes several civil ministries. Several medial offices, including the office of the Qatar-based al-Jazeera, were damaged in the shelled.
At least 157 Palestinians, including dozens of children, women and elderly, have been killed since Israeli started its offensive against Gaza eight days ago, more than 1,100, also mainly civilians and children, have been injured.
