Saturday April 6, 2013; Israeli soldiers kidnapped three Palestinians, including a 10-year-old child, in Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, and one Palestinian in the West Bank city of Bethlehem.Media sources in Hebron reported that the army kidnapped Abdul-Hadi Abu Sneina, 10, from Jabal Ar-Rahma area in Hebron, and moved him to an unknown destination.
Soldiers also kidnapped Ahmad Al-Ja’by and Majdi As-Salayma, near the Ibrahimi Mosque in the center of Hebron.
In Bethlehem, soldiers invaded the Aida refugee camp, broke into the home of resident Ahmad Al-Amir, and kidnapped his son, Mohammad, 23.
Also on Saturday, Palestinian medical sources reported that dozens of Palestinians have been injured by rubber-coated metal bullets and due to the effects of teargas inhalation, during clashes with Israeli soldiers in Abu Dis town, east of occupied East Jerusalem.
Israeli soldiers also kidnapped seven Palestinians identified as Mahmoud Khaled Jaffal, Laith Sami Awwad, Morad Rabee’, Mustafa Abu Roomy, Sami Ash-Shamaly, Montaser Gheith, and Mohammad Khalaf. All were moved to the Maale Adumim Police station before being moved to Ezion detention center.
On Friday, Palestinian medical sources in Hebron reported that 39 Palestinians have been injured by rubber-coated metal bullets fired by the army at Palestinian protesters, and that dozens of residents have been treated for the effects of teargas inhalation.
On Wednesday, the army shot and killed two Palestinians during clashes that took place near the Anabta military roadblock, near the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem. Several Palestinians have been injured and at least three have been kidnapped.
Clashes have been taking place in different parts of the occupied West Bank, including in occupied East Jerusalem since the death of detainee Maisara Abu Hamdiyya, 64, who died last Tuesday of an advanced stage of cancer resulting from the lack of medical attention in Israeli prisons. Abu Hamdiyya is from the West Bank city of Hebron.
