Jewish extremists on Tuesday set fire to several wheat fields belonging to Palestinians in the village of Beit Furik east of Nablus.An official who monitors settlers’ activities said that extremists from Elon Moreh settlement started the fire in the wheat fields, and the wind helped the fire to spread.
The official added that Israeli soldiers arrived at the scene but did not stop the perpetrators.Instead, they soldiers prevented locals in the area from reaching their burning lands.
