Dozens of Israeli settlers, illegally occupied on Monday two Palestinian stores near the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in occupied East Jerusalem, the Palestine News Network (PNN) has reported.PNN said that dozens of settlers and Israeli police officers are currently surrounding the two stores that belong to members of Wazwaz Palestinian family.
Local sources have reported that dozens of residents also gathered at the scene amidst increasing police presence.
Furthermore, Israeli Policemen and personnel of the Department Revenue broke into several Palestinian in the Old City.
The Palestine News & Info Agency (WAFA) have reported that several shop owners have been fined, while dozens of shop owners just closed their business for the day.
In related news, the Al-Aqsa Foundation for Waqf and Heritage has reported that approximately 70 female Israeli soldiers, Israeli security officers and more than 25 settlers broke into the Al-Aqsa mosque yard through the Magharba Gate.
The foundation said that the attack is one of dozens of similar attacks, including an attack carried out by soldiers and settlers just a few days ago.
