On Monday morning [June 10, 2013] Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded the southern West Bank district of Hebron, broke into several homes, and kidnapped seven Palestinians before taking them to unknown destinations.Local sources in the Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, have reported that the soldiers kidnapped Maher Abu Warda, 19, and Nidal Jamal Al-Ballasy, 24.
The sources added that the army also broke into several homes and searched them, and that local youths hurled stones at the invading soldiers who fired rubber-coated metal bullets and gas bombs.
Furthermore, soldiers invaded Yatta and Doura towns, and kidnapped five Palestinians after searching their homes.
Eyewitnesses said several armored military vehicles invaded Doura before the soldiers kidnapped Monther Mohammad Abu Atwan, and Abdullah Maher Abu Sharar.
Another Palestinian, identified as Mohannad Ar-Rab’ey, was kidnapped in Yatta town, while resident Islam Shannan was kidnapped in Hebron city. Property damage was reported after the soldiers violently broke into homes and searched them.
In related news, dozens of soldiers invaded the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem, and kidnapped two Palestinians identified as Yasser Abdul-Latif Zeidan, 21, and Mohammad Eyad Abu Zeina.
