[Tuesday at Dawn, December 31, 2013] A number of Israeli settlers invaded the Dahia agricultural area, close to the Bet El Israeli settlement, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and burnt three Palestinian cars.Local sources said that the settlers also wrote racist anti-Arab and anti-Palestinian graffiti on the walls of various homes in the area. Some of the graffiti calls for killing all Arabs in the West Bank.
Palestinian official, Ghassan Daghlas, in charge of Israeli settlement files in the West Bank, said that 2013 witnessed a sharp increase in attacks carried out by extremist settlers against the Palestinians, their lands and property.
Daghlas added that the attacks included burning and damaging dozens of Palestinian cars, uprooting and cutting hundreds of trees, in addition to hundreds of attacks against Palestinian homes and property.
Dozens of incidents of physical attacks against the Palestinians, in their own homes and lands, have also been documented. Similar attacks also targeted Islamic and Christian holy sites and graveyards.
