[Wednesday Morning, February 26, 2014] Head of al-Maleh Village Council, Aref Daraghmeh, said that the Israeli occupation has deported 30 families from their homes in the Jordan Valley, under the pretext of carrying out military training in the area.Daraghmeh told the Palestinian News Network (PNN) that Israeli occupation personnel served the residents with evacuation notices two days ago, and that Israeli army troops raided the area at dawn, forcing the residents from Yerza, Deir Ebzeek al-Burj and Oyoum al-Mayta areas to evacuate their homes.
Daraghmeh added that the continued Israeli practices have resulted in the deportation of around 400 families from the Valleys over six times, under the pretext of conducting military training.
He elaborated that these practices which are committed against the residents of the Jordan Valley require legal and popular protests to support Palestinians and reinforce their steadfastness.
