Jewish settlers, on Wednesday, assaulted a number of Palestinian worshipers after they stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.Groups of settlers broke into the mosque through Bab al-Magharbeh and started to provoke the Palestinian worshipers by chanting racist slogans. The worshipers protested the settlers and succeeded to expel them from the mosque, the Palestinian News Network has reported.
It’s worth mentioning that around 300 settlers raided, on Tuesday, the al-Aqsa mosque following calls from Jewish rabbis to storm the mosque. The rabbis also called for the storming of the mosque in the middle of the month, which would coincide with ‘Passover’ festival.
