[Tuesday at Dawn, April 8, 2014] Israeli soldiers have invaded the town of Ithna, west of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, kidnapping a lawyer and his sister-in-law. The army also invaded Beit Sahour, near Bethlehem.The Palestinian News & Info Agency (WAFA) has reported that several Israeli military jeeps invaded the town, and kidnapped lawyer Tareq Thieb Tmeizy, 27, who works at the District Court, in the area, and his sister-in-law, Mona Issa Tmeizy, 34.
WAFA said that the soldiers violently broke into the homes of the two kidnapped Palestinians, and searched them, causing excessive damage to the doors, furniture and belongings.
In addition, the soldiers confiscated money, gold and checkbooks, and searched a hothouse belonging one of the brothers of Tareq.
In related news, several Israeli military jeeps invaded Beit Sahour town, near Bethlehem, and handed a resident a military warrant ordering him to head to the Etzion military base, south of Bethlehem, for interrogation.
The soldiers invaded the home of resident Ziad Shueibat, 45 years of age, and threatened to kidnap and imprison him, should he fail to appear for interrogation.
