[Tuesday at Dawn, April 22, 2014] Several Israeli military jeeps invaded Teqoua’ village, in the West Bank district of Bethlehem, and fired gas bombs at a number of houses, wounding two children after their house caught fire.Eyewitnesses said that soldiers invaded the village, and fired several gas bombs and concussion grenades, despite the fact that there were no clashes between local youth and the invading soldiers.
Resident Mohammad al-badan told the Radio Bethlehem 2000 that gas bombs were fired into the home of Samir Ali al-Badan caught fire, and that two of his children were treated for smoke inhalation resulting from the fire.
The parents of the two wounded children are in performing pilgrimage in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, Mohammad added.
In related news, soldiers installed a roadblock in the Qaber Hilwa area, near Dar Salah village, east of Bethlehem.
The army stopped and searched dozens of cars, and interrogated the residents while inspecting their ID cards.
