Unknown gunmen kill a Palestinian man near Ramallah, while two children injured near Bethlehem city. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

A Palestinian man was shot and killed on Tuesday at Qalandiya refugee camp between the central West Bank city of Ramallah and Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that gunmen driving an Israeli car drove near Eyad Saedallh Awad, 35, and opened fire at him killing him.

Awad was hit with four bullets in his back and died instantly, local sources reported. Palestinian police arrived at scene and opened an investigation into the incident.

Earlier on Tuesday at dawn, Several Israeli military jeeps invaded Teqoua’ village, in the West Bank district of Bethlehem, and fired gas bombs at a number of houses, wounding two children after their house caught fire.

Eyewitnesses said that soldiers invaded the village, and fired several gas bombs and concussion grenades, despite the fact that there were no clashes between local youth and the invading soldiers.

According to local sources said that gas bombs were fired by soldiers into the home of Samir Ali al-Badan caught fire, and that two of his children were treated for smoke inhalation resulting from the fire.

In other news Palestinian farmers in the Salfit district in northern West Bank appealed all to Palestinian and international bodies to stop the continued destruction of their crops, caused by the wild boars released by Israeli settlers in the district.

Palestinian researcher Khaled Maali explained that the settlers found launching wild pigs toward the Palestinian farmlands as a way to force farmers out of their lands without significant cost.

Maali pointed out that the occupation prevents the Palestinians from shooting the pigs, whereas it permits settlers to kill the pigs when they reach their colonial settlements.
