Israeli soldiers kidnapped, on Tuesday at dawn, 31 Palestinians, including children, in different neighborhoods in occupied Jerusalem, and various surrounding nearby Palestinian communities.Local sources said hundreds of soldiers invaded Sur Baher and Silwan towns, the at-Tour neighborhood and the Old City of Jerusalem.
The Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association (Ad-Dameer) has reported that the army kidnapped 31 Palestinians during dawn hours, and moved them to a number of interrogation facilities in the city.
Ad-Dameer added that the invasions are ongoing, and the army will likely conduct further home invasions and arrests.
Some of the kidnapped Palestinians have been identified as Mansour Shweiki, 14, Tamer Sarhan, Mohammad Qneiby, Noureddeen az-Zaghal, 16, Hatem Shweiki, 17, Sharif Abu Rmeila, 16, Ali al-Qaaq, 22, Mohammad Abu Teir, 20, Mustafa Abu Teir, Wajdi Torshan, Moath Hamdan, Khaldoun Sarhan, Samah Sarhan, Ali Qawaqa, Ahmad al-Qarout, Abdul-Karim ‘Amira, Mamdouh al-Qaroot, Mahmoud Abu Ghannam and Bakr al-Maghreby.
On Monday evening, soldiers kidnapped three Palestinians in Beit Safafa, and a child in Wadi al-Jouz neighborhood in Jerusalem.
In addition, Mohannad Safady, Ibrahim Qadous, Abdullah al-Joulani, Ibrahim al-Joulani, Tareq Edrees, Walid ar-Risheq, and Hamas Molazem, have also been kidnapped, and are currently under interrogation.
