Israel continues in military offensive targeting Gaza, 86 killed so fare, in the meantime Palestinian groups retaliate and fire home-made shells into Israeli cities. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

More than 32 Palestinians have been reported killed on Thursday as the Israeli offensive against Gaza continued for the third day.

Israeli fighter jets continued to targeted residents homes, hospitals and schools, local sources reported. More than 150 homes gave been leveled to the ground after being targeted by Israeli war jets.

In one of the attacks on Thursday Israeli war jetfighters attacked a beach resort with missiles killed nine civilians from the same family. At least 15 were injured also.

With the 32 people killed today the number of Palestinians that have died in Gaza due to the military offensive since Monday has reached 86 with more than 600 injured. According to Palestinian sources there are 25 children among those killed since Monday.

The Israeli government has claimed that Palestinian fighters fired 117 shells toward Israel in the same time period, causing no deaths or injuries. Some of the shells from Gaza appear to be aimed at Israel’s cities and a nuclear reactor.

Palestinian armed groups in Gaza announced that they will continue to fire home-made shells at Israeli areas until Israeli stops in attacks targeting Palestinians.

In the meantime, the UN Security Council is to hold an emergency meeting on the escalating violence, following requests by Arab envoys and UN chief Ban Ki-moon.

Japan, Egypt and Jordan have issued statements condemning the latest series of Israeli assaults on the Palestinian community. PLO member Saeb Erekat has described the ongoing Israeli offensive against Gaza as an ‘all-out, systematic war against the national project and national reconciliation.’
