Israeli soldiers leave two civilians injured in the West Bank and settler attack workers in Jerusalem injuring three. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.
Israeli soldiers kidnapped, on Tuesday evening, a Palestinian in the Old City of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, and violently assaulted two others, causing various cuts and bruises.
On Tuesday at night, soldiers assaulted two Palestinians in Tal Romeida neighborhood, in Hebron, causing various injuries that required hospitalization.
Medical sources said Emad Abu Shamsiyya, 16 years of age, and Anas Sharabati, 23, were moved to the ‘Alia Governmental Hospital.
In Jerusalem, Extremist Israeli settlers chased down and assaulted 3 Palestinian workers. Witnesses described seeing a group of illegal settlers running after the workers before catching up with them and physically assaulting them.
Israeli police then arrived at the scene of the crime and did nothing to the perpetrators of the attack but rather arrested two victims of the assault. The third was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment.
In the Gaza strip on Tuesday morning, Israeli gunboats chased and opened fire at a Palestinian fishing boats. They also arrested 6 fishermen, and confiscated 3 fishing boats.
Israeli naval forces stationed off al-Sudaniya shore in the northern Gaza Strip opened fire at 2 Palestinian fishing boats carrying 4 Palestinian fishermen on board and sailing within three nautical miles off al-Soudaniya shore.
Israeli naval officers, who were on board of two gunboats, forced the four fishermen to stop working, jump into the sea and swim towards one of the gunboats. Eventually, the officers arrested them and confiscated the fishing boat.
The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) observed that Israeli forces escalated their attacks against fishermen in the Gaza Strip sea. four fishermen, including a child were wounded; 14 fishermen, including two children, were arrested; and three fishing boats were confiscated only during last week, PCHR said.
