Israeli navy attack Gaza fishermen and in the west Bank Israeli troops invade communities and kidnaped civilians. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.
An Israeli navy ship attacked on Wednesday morning a Palestinian fishing boat off the coast of Gaza City.
According to fishermen they were sailing within the 6 nautical mills off shore when they were attacked by Israeli navy heavy gunfire.
The fishers had to sail back to shore fearing additional attacks by the Israeli navy. No injuries were reported but the boat sustained damage.
Elsewhere, Israeli troops and a settler attacked on Wednesday midday a Palestinian youth at one of the gates of Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem’s old city.
According to witnesses, a scuffle broke out between the Palestinian youth and the settler who later got the Israeli police to come and help him attack the Palestinian young man.
A group of near two dozen settlers stormed on Wednesday the Al Aqsa mosque under the protection of Israeli soldiers.
The youth fainted after being beaten up and soldiers refused to allow people to help hem and took him to a nearby police station.
Early on Wednesday at dawn, Israeli troops kidnaped six Palestinian civilians including three children during invasions and home searches across the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources invasions and homes searches were reported in Hebron, southern West Bank and the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
In related news, Israeli army court renewed administrative detention for 33 Palestinian political detainees. 28 got renewal for the second time while five got it for the first time. The Palestinian Political Prisoners Society announced on Wednesday.
The Israeli army uses the administrative detention policy to detain Palestinians for longer times without charges or trial. Currently there are five Palestinian political detainee held by Israel who are on hunger strike in protest of the Israeli administrative detention policy and ill-treatment by their captives.
