The Israeli army, on Tuesday, fired live ammunition and teargas canisters at Palestinian protestors east of Burij refugee camp, causing several cases of suffocation among the youth.WAFA correspondence relayed that the Israeli army fired live rounds and teargas canisters at youth who gathered near the border fence in protest Israel’s increasing use of violence and extrajudicial killings, of mostly Palestinian teens, in the West Bank and Gaza.
Friction areas in the Gaza Strip have been witnessing increasing levels of violence since early October of 2015, as a result of Israel’s ongoing attempts to divide al-Aqsa Mosque compound between Muslims and Jews.
Over 100 Palestinians, including 25 children and four women, have been killed by Israeli fire since the beginning of unrest in the West Bank, in early October 2015.
