Two Palestinian youth killed by Israeli gunfire and troops attack Gaza farmers. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.
Israeli soldiers shot and killed, on Wednesday morning, two Palestinians in the Eli illegal Israeli settlement, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, allegedly after they attempted to stab a soldier.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said the two slain Palestinians have been identified Labeeb Khaldoun Azzam, 17, and Mohammad Hisham Zaghlawan, 17, from Qaryout village, south of Nablus.
The two left their homes on Tuesday evening, and never returned; their families and other villagers looked for them all night long until they heard the news of their death.
Israeli sources said that soldier suffered a mild injury after being attacked by two Palestinians, who infiltrated into the colony, and that the two were shot and killed by Israeli soldiers while attempting to feel the scene.
Earlier on Wednesday at dawn, Israeli soldiers kidnapped at least fifteen Palestinians, in various military invasions targeting different parts of the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem.
Moreover in Jerusalem, Israeli soldiers demolished an under-construction residential building in the at-Tour village, east of occupied Jerusalem, allegedly for being built without a permit.
Israel imposes tight restrictions on the Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem, in addition to excessive fees and complicated procedures, in an attempt to prevent them from building homes, or expanding existing ones.
This Israeli policy pushes growing families to build before obtaining a permit, while at the same time filing legal paperwork. The fines and fees imposed on them are in most cases much higher than construction costs.
Elsewhere, a group of Palestinian farmers were fired upon by Israeli troops in the Rafah region of southern Gaza. The farmers reported that Israeli troops stationed along the southern border of Gaza, where Gaza borders Egypt, began to fire live ammunition toward them as they were farming their land.
