Israeli forces assaulted an ambulance crew and shot a Palestinian child with live ammunition on Tuesday night, in the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces invaded the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, breaking into citizens’ homes, while detaining and interrogating their owners.


Sources added that soldiers opened fire with live rounds and tear gas canisters, causing several citizens to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.

Meanwhile, the army brutally assaulted a Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulance crew during the incursion, damaged their ambulance, and forced them out of the area; they were transported to the Abu al-Hasan al-Qasim Governmental Hospital in Yatta for treatment.

The PRCS reported that Israeli forces shot a 14-year-old child in the leg with live ammunition; he was transported to the hospital for treatment.
